SOUTH COWICHAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Our mission is to strengthen business and community in the South Cowichan Valley through advocacy, networking, participation, member services and leadership.

Advocacy:
The Chamber strives to  establish itself as a credible, effective voice for the South Cowichan business community and the community as a whole.  In order to achieve this, the Chamber must continue to actively participate in local, provincial and national policy dialogues, acting as a conduit for both local and global interests.

Networking:
The Chamber works to improve networking among our own members and continue to build strong alliances and working relationships with other like-minded community organizations.

Participation:
The Chamber continues to be dedicated to the sharing of ideas, information and resources that can benefit the business community and the South Cowichan Valley as a whole.  The Chamber is a place where the power of volunteerism and community energy is harnessed, and where young leaders learn and flourish.

Member Services:
The South Cowichan Chamber of Commerce recognizes that achievement of its long term objectives requires retention and recruitment of members, through ongoing efforts to expand existing benefits and enhance overall communication.

Leadership:
Through Strategic Planning and pro-active leadership, the Chamber strives to promote the vision of a cohesive, dynamic South Cowichan Valley.
